The idea
Less watching.

A story can become a storyboard. A science question can become a scene. A quiet idea can become something the whole group builds on.
Classrooms is being designed around shared activities and a teacher’s judgement. The first pilot will help us find what is useful in a real lesson, on the devices a school already has.
These are proposed pilot activities. The school setup and available tools will be confirmed before a pilot begins.

Can our school use it today?
We’re preparing the first school pilot. This page helps you outline a possible session; it does not register a school, reserve a place or provide an installer. Pilot availability and the technical setup still need to be confirmed.
Does “offline” mean no data ever leaves the school?
That is not a promise we can make yet. The proposed design is to run classroom activities locally. We need to verify the actual build, device behaviour, network settings and any optional services before describing exactly where data goes. Those details must be agreed with the school before a pilot.
This public website is online. The planning choices you make here stay in the page unless you choose to download or print them.
Is this an AI classroom tool?
The starting point is teacher-led creativity and collaboration. AI is an optional area to investigate for the pilot, not an implemented feature offered on this page. Any such tool would need its own review of suitability, device requirements and data handling before use.
Will children need public profiles or photographs?
The proposed pilot does not call for public pupil profiles, real-face photographs or an open social feed. We’ll agree what, if any, identifiers and class work are needed with the school before a pilot starts. Please do not enter pupil information into this planner.
Is this the same as CastMe Classrooms?
They have different purposes. CastMe Classrooms is the hosted performance and drama product. Classrooms.ie is the proposed broader school learning system, with a local school setup. An account or class on one should not be assumed to carry over to the other.
Can a school outside Ireland take part?
The pilot is being shaped in Ireland. Interest from schools elsewhere is welcome as the programme develops, but we have not confirmed country-specific availability, curriculum alignment or compliance. We would need to establish those requirements together.
